Istanbul – Cappadocia – Ephesus: Ideal for short stays and cruise connections from Kusadasi or Izmir, covers major highlights of Turkey. Tour starts from Istanbul ends in Kusadasi or Izmir.
Arrive at any time. Upon your arrival in Istanbul, you will be met with our company representative in the arrivals area of the airport who will be holding a signboard with your name on it. After meet and greet, you will then be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Istanbul. After hotel check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure on your own.
Today we will visit Saint Sophia (Hagia Sofia). Originally built by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century, and converted into a mosque by the Ottomans in the 15th century. The Blue Mosque, another of the world’s most important religious buildings, unique for its 6 minarets and it’s celestial interior decorated with the famous blue Iznik tiles. The Hippodrome, scene of chariot races. The Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Ottoman Sultan’s from the 15th to the 19th century. The tour ends in the Grand Bazaar, which has over 4000 shops full of treasures. Return to your hotel around 5:30 pm. This tour may be done completely as a walking tour. Notes: Sunday the Grand Bazaar is closed – Tuesday the Topkapi Palace is closed – Friday Blue Mosque may be closed. (In winter St Sophia is closed on Monday and is replaced by the Yerebatan Saray Underground Cistern)
Day at leisure to enjoy the city or you may take an optional Bosporus cruise.
Fly to Kayseri in the early morning. On arrival, you will be transferred to Cappadocia and visit the Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. In the afternoon visit the Open Air Museum in Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cappadocia for check-in.
Depart from the hotel at 09.30-10.00 for a tour with a hike through the Rose Valley with visits to the churches. Afterwards visit the old Christian village of Cavusin. Stop for lunch near Pigeons Valley and then continue on to see the Kaymakli Underground City or Ozkonak Underground City. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Kayseri airport for the flight to Izmir. Upon your arrival transfer to your hotel.
Today, you will enjoy a full-day tour of Ephesus. As one of the largest Roman archaeological sites in the eastern Mediterranean, you can get some idea of the city’s original splendor from the ruins, including the Arcadian Way, the Antique Theater, the Virgin Mary’s house, the Roman Baths, and the Celsus Library. After the tour, you will be dropped off at Izmir airport by 5:30 pm. END OF OUR SERVICE and TOURS.

If you wish to include a higher quality hotel, we offer two options:
Option 1: We can upgrade your hotel at an additional cost. This cost will be added to the total tour price of the standard package tour.
Option 2: You can arrange your own accommodation on the tour as per your preference. We can offer a new package tour price without including the cost of hotel accommodation. If Option 2 is preferred, all services as part of the package tour will be provided except for hotel accommodation.
Please let us know the option you prefer at the time the tour request is made so that we can price the tour accordingly. If no change in hotels is needed and you wish to proceed with the hotels highlighted in our package tour at the quoted tour price then you may book the tour directly online.
